Welcome to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Newburyport, Massachusetts. I’m the Reverend Meg Ingalls, interim rector of St. Paul’s. We are a community of committed Christians who welcome all people and profess a faith which embraces the words of our Lord Jesus Christ:  ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength’ and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There are no commandments greater than these.’  We invite you to view the video below developed by the Episcopal Church describing in broad strokes what Episcopalians are like as a community of faith.

St. Paul’s offers Sunday morning worship, a Wednesday Evening prayer service, and a monthly Contemplative Prayer service. Our Montessori based Sunday School program, called the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, serves children ages 4 to 5th grade.  Our middle schoolers participate in The Lighthouse program and our high school students serves as part of our Youth Leadership Team.

Our many mission activities include the Among Friends program which offers three cooked meals a week to the community at no cost, and a special Global Outreach program to El Salvador. Christian education, a book club, a knitter’s prayer shawl ministry, music program are only some of the rich and varied activities which occur here. Come and check us out.
